This heartfelt collection is inspired by my original painting Blossoms of Love, a piece born from loss, faith, and the beauty of undeniable signs.

In April of 2009, my world was forever changed when a distracted driver took my mom’s life. Grief overwhelmed me—I couldn’t eat, sleep, or think clearly. That summer, my mother-in-law sent a rose tree in honor of my mom. At first, it looked lifeless, a fragile twig that I wasn’t sure I could nurture. Yet something in me refused to give up. Against all odds, it grew and bloomed beautifully for years.

Then one season, it stopped flowering. Two years passed with nothing but leaves. On a day when I missed my mom more than ever, I asked her to send me a sign. Later that evening, I found the rose tree covered in new blossoms—one full bloom and several buds ready to open. It was a message of love so clear and powerful, it took my breath away.

Blossoms of Love captures that sacred moment—the eternal bond between mother and child, the quiet strength that carries us through grief, and the reminder that love continues to bloom, even after loss.
