My Story
Mom, wife, artist, energy practitioner, and occasional chaos coordinator.
Chaos to Calm
My Journey of Keeping It Real (and Staying Sane)

I always figured if I worked hard enough, I could build the stable life I wanted after a rocky childhood. And for a while, I actually did it—I had a job I loved, married a great guy, and we had a beautiful baby girl. Life was finally good! But, as life tends to do, it threw a curveball, and knocked me on my ass.
I’ve been through my share of ups and downs, but I don’t want those moments to define me. Instead, I want to help others find their way out of the dark times. After losing my mom in 2009, my world turned upside down, which led me on a spiritual journey I never saw coming. I mean, who knew I’d end up seeing a medium, joining a medium circle and exploring spiritual practices? Seriously, I thought this new-age woo-woo stuff was a joke.
Then, in 2020, when my daughter faced a serious health crisis, I realized how important self-care really is. It took a while and was very painful, but that’s when I discovered my love and passion for energy work and art. Now, I’m embracing this new chapter of life with an open heart and a little more humor.
Each week, I share a little insight into my life and work, called Moments of Stillness.

I know firsthand how challenging it can be to start and maintain a small business, which is why I make it a priority to promote other artists and local makers. We all need a helping hand now and then, and I believe in lifting each other up whenever possible. There are so many talented people creating truly amazing things, and it inspires me to share their work.
I regularly highlight these small businesses on my social media, giving you a chance to discover new favorites and support them too. If you’d like to see all the incredible individuals I’ve featured so far, you can find them collected here.

Some of my paintings are heaven sent, Whispers of Love is one of those. Therefore, I am committed to donating a percent of profits to organizations who's mission is to help our local community.
