Jim and I used to work together, and I knew him as the smart, soft-spoken guy who always had things figured out. So imagine my surprise when I discovered he’s out here creating beautiful paintings. When I asked what he’d want people to know about his work, he said, “I’m a simple guy. I just paint pretty pictures of things I love.”

Simple? Sure, Jim… we’ll go with that!

Because when you actually spend time with his work, it feels like so much more. His paintings have this quiet way of pulling you in. It’s like a reminder to slow down, breathe, and notice the beauty that’s been there all along.

And here’s something I really admire… he teaches workshops online and in-person, too. Which is amazing, because personally… I’d be like, “Okay class, step one: don’t panic when you hate your painting immediately.” So, hats off to him for that!
