Uff Tada!
Introducing Michelle Delta from Uff Tada, formally North Delta.
I met Michelle at a workshop she was hosting when a former colleague once invited me to visit his wife’s bookstore, The Thinking Spot and I’m so glad he did. It’s the kind of place that instantly feels inspiring.
Although I wasn’t able to attend Michelle’s needle felting workshop due to a prior client commitment, I saw firsthand the care, intention, and talent she brings to her art. Michelle works across multiple mediums, but what truly stands out to me is her belief to “create more than you consume.” Through her needle-felted patches, she gives new life to clothing that might otherwise be discarded—transforming the worn or torn into something whimsical, expressive, and sustainable (and yes, they’re incredibly cute).
Her work immediately reminded me of my own painting, Broken into Beauty, the idea that even what feels damaged or overlooked can be reimagined into something meaningful. There’s so much power in that perspective.
Michelle’s art beautifully blends creativity with sustainability, and I’m honored to share her work with you. I encourage you to explore more of her work at her website, Uff Tada and follow her on Instagram @ufftada.
